"My baby had a tongue tie, unfortunately no one in the hospital and even pediatrician checked for it. I was experiencing pain and at some point I couldn't even latch my baby to my left breast due to pain and bleeding. When I finally saw Lauren she quickly suggested a tongue tie scissor release and body works. She referred us and helped us connect with a doctor that has performed hundreds of scissor releases. After the scissor release, things started to finally improve. I did have to use nipple shields and continue to pump for a few days but slowly but surely my baby started latching directly and with better latching everything started to improve dramatically. To this date my baby is almost 5 months and I am still breastfeeding successfully and I am using a range of different positions that I learnt from Lauren. I am very thankful and lucky I had Lauren as Lactation consultant!"
